  
Motion is tested in Azimuth and Elevation. Drive currents are checked at high and low speed. Home, left, right, up and down limit switches are checked for proper operation. The positioners are then disassembled, cleaned and disinfected. Bearings are greased and reassembled. Motors, gears, encoders and detectors are replaced as required. After reassembly, motion in Azimuth and Elevation is then rechecked. Drive currents at high and low speeds are rechecked. Alignment of home, left, right, up and down
limit switches is rechecked and adjusted with a laser alignment fixture.
Sagebrush Surgical Positioner
Motion is tested in Azimuth and Elevation. Drive currents are checked at high and low speed. Home, left, right, up and down limit switches are checked for proper operation. The positioners are then disassembled, cleaned and disinfected. Bearings are greased and reassembled. Motors, gears, encoders, detectors and rubber boots are replaced as required. After reassemby motion in Azimuth and Elevation is then rechecked. Drive currents at high and low speeds are rechecked. Alignment of home, left, right, up and down switches is checked and adjusted with a laser alignment fixture.
Autoguide and Positioner Reliability
Room down time, loss of revenue, loss of referrals and patient upset can result from an Autoguide or Positioner that has become intermittent and unreliable. Autoguide and Positioner reliability and useful life can be greatly improved by regular maintenance.
Conquest Imaging offers maintenance on functional Positioners and Autoguides by appointment, allowing the customer to take advantage of normally vacant days in their schedule. The Positioner or Autoguide would be tested, disassembled, cleaned, serviced, reassembled, calibrated and retested with a 2-day turnaround.
