Hi,

I am having a problem with a Ultramark 4 plus model UM4A. The viewing on the monitor is showing double. That being the trainangle image viewing area showing twice on the monitor. Has anyone ever experienced this problem and knows the solution? Thanks in advance.Image of print out is attached.

Was the image normal before this problem appeared? You may have a problem with the video generator signal to the monitor or it is in the monitor. Also the TV line rate switch may be set wrong (625 line 50hz / 525 line 60hz).

Thanks for replying. Yes the image was normal. I will look into your thoughts on the problem. Do you have the operator's and service manual for this unit?

Try changing the monitor if you can get another one that with work on it.
Sorry I do not have a service manual for it, call Conquest service they maybe able to help you.

I was looking for the tv line rate switch and could not find. Where is this exactly?

The lights on the keyboard console are not coming on every time the power is turned on and when they do come on, they are not legible. I plan on taking the unit apart this afternoon and checking the ribon cable connections and seeing the overall condition inside this dinosaur. The knobs work fine, the picture on the monitor changes with adjustment. Its just the two lines of lights that are acting up. Any advice/input?
