Hello everyone:

PLEASE: I need help for my GE VIVID 3 ultrasound :( .

When I turn on my ultrasound, the system showme the following message:

Critical error: "Dolph UI: UI_SRC: EXKB doesn't exit"

And almost the controls (extended Keyboard) are not functionals (only keyboard and trackball are working!)

Is this a software problem or is a hardware one?
Do I need to call a technician or is something that I can fix by my self?

If is a software problem, which file do I need to repair? what's name and extention?

PLEASE HAVE MERCI ON ME!!!

THANKS!!!

It is a hardward and software problem.
Reload software first. The V3 uses Ghost to reload and it will only reload the OS and Application. Your patient data and configuration will be spared.

Your hard drive is having problems which is usually from improper power down or putting the system into stand-by mode when it does not have good/any batteries and then going mobile with it. After you reload software (if it will take) then have the HDD cloned and then install the new HDD. Other wise install a new HDD(40,60 or 80gig) and load software fresh.
