Presentation Topics Outline

Length:
● Short Topics are between 60 and 90 minutes in length.
● Medium Topics are between 3 and 4 hours in length.
● Long Topics are between 7 and 8 hours in length.
Testing:
● Short and Medium Topics would not be tested and receive a certificate of participation.
● Long Topics would finish with an AAMI compliant test.
●Participants who score 90% or better would receive Certificates of Achievement.
●Participants who score of less than 90% would receive Certificates of Participation.
Materials:
● Projected presentation information will be available in hardcopy for participants.
● Presentation material will be available on CD for participants.
● Resource and reference information will be available where possible for participants.
● Resource and reference materials will be included on CD where copyrights are not violated.
Short Topics:
● Probe care and feeding
● Understanding 3D/4D imaging.
● What is Dicom?
Medium Topics:
● Ultrasound Preventative Maintenance.
● Compact/Laptop Ultrasound care and feeding.
● Ultrasound Dicom Basics.
Long Topics:
● Ultrasound Basics.
● Personal Area Networks.
● Basic Networking and Dicom.
